The main concept of this project is to provide a healing environment that views patients as whole people with minds and spirits as well as bodies and includes these dimensions in diagnosis and treatment.

Programs such as symptom management, pain management, massage, acupuncture and psychological based occupational therapy are offered at the facility. Community workshops and classes are presented in Mindful Pilates, TaiChi/Qigong, Awareness through Movement exercises, Relaxation/Meditation/Guided Imagery, Creative Expression/Art/Spirituality/Dream Programs, Yoga and CancerLife. These programs are combined with the delivery of traditional health care procedures to give the patients a true sense of wholeness in the healing process.

The goal of the client was to provide a facility that delivers non-traditional healing methods and resources to patients within a traditional health care environment. The program includes staff offices and support areas, treatment rooms, counseling rooms, a group/exercise room and a resource room. The facility is located on the second floor in a multiple-tenant Medical Office Building.
